Gully Cricket

Well Cricket is pretty known... so what is this Gully Cricket?
In Hindi (Local Mumbai Language) Gully means Street, so Gully Cricket is mainly Street Cricket.
Due to lack of space in this congested city, one of the staple games for people of all ages in Mumbai is Gully cricket. On Sunday or a public holiday small street's with not much traffic are converted to Cricket pitches! And these matches have everything a umpire, stumps, fielders crouched in! There are even Gully Cricket contests in localities.
This sport is so popular that there was some talk of making it an official game, like an out crop of actual cricket, I don't know what happened to that!
This happens often in the lane outside my house, when returning by car we have to halt, while the players remove the stumps and clear their 'pitch' so we can pass!
Infact online there are gully cricket games!
